The Most Reverend Robert J. McClory, Bishop of the Diocese of Gary, has announced from the Chancery the following appointments:
- Reverend Thomas E. Mischler is appointed Administrator of St. Mary Parish in Kouts,in addition to his responsibilities as Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish in Winfield Township and St. Helen Parish in Hebron, effective May 15, 2020.
- Reverend Frank D. Torres is appointed Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Kouts and Holy Spirit Parish in Winfield Township, in addition to his assignment as Associate Pastor of St. Helen Parish in Hebron, effective May 15, 2020.
- Reverend Jon J. Plavcan is appointed Administrator of St. Ann of the Dunes Parish in Beverly Shores, in addition to his responsibilities as Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Chesterton and Vicar for Clergy, effective May 25, 2020.
- Reverend Jaime Perea is appointed Administrator of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Gary, effective May 26, 2020.
- Reverend Nathaniel Edquist is appointed Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart, St. Joseph and St.Peter Parishes in LaPorte, effective July 1, 2020.
- Upon ordination to the priesthood, Deacon Jacob J. McDaniel will be appointed Associate Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Schererville, effective July 1, 2020.
