Father Stanish takes over as vocations director

Father Chris Stanish offers the perspective of a young priest during a discussion among Diocese of Gary seminarians at a Dec. 30 retreat held at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Student Center in Valparaiso, where he serves as chaplain.

On Jan. 1, Father Stanish took over as diocesan vocations director after serving as assistant director to Father David Kime, left, since 2015. Father Kime, who became vocations director in 2014, will continue as director of the House of Discernment at his parish, St. Francis Xavier in Lake Station.
