The Diocese of Gary is mourning the loss of two members of its clergy.
The Rev. John B. Barasinski died May 16, and Deacon Raymond D. Dec died May 14.
Father Barasinski, pastor of St. Ann of the Dunes in Beverly Shores, was born on June 23, 1950, and was ordained on July 11, 1981.
Deacon Dec, who served as a senior deacon at St. James the Less in Highland, was born on Nov. 20, 1933, and was ordained on June 20, 1982.
