The Emmaus Program

The Emmaus Program is a formation program that has been created for parish ministers, catechists, Catholic school teachers, and lay men and women in our parishes. The program is taught in a less intense format than the Lay Ecclesial Ministry program, and is designed to broaden the participants understanding of their faith.  The Emmaus Program will focus on the core beliefs of the Catholic faith, with time allocated each evening for questions and discussion.  A minimum of four classes will be offered - two in the Fall and two in the Spring.  The classes will be taught by a variety of instructors, coming from local universities and from our own diocese.  All will have expertise in theology, liturgy and scripture.
