St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Columbus, Indiana, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is actively seeking a principal for the 2021-2022 academic school year. St. Bartholomew offers over 350 students in grades K through 8th an opportunity to grow daily in mind, body and spirit. Chris Wadelton. As the administrative head, the principal has chief responsibility for the operation of the school following the policies and guidelines established by the Office of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
These duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serves as the primary school representative to parents, the School Commission, the Parish, and the community;
- Is responsible for building and reinforcing a strong school culture through faith-based leadership;
- Is responsible for budgeting and financial management;
- Oversees the professional development and leadership of the faculty and staff.
